Our SaddleBrooke Retirement Community has so much to offer. What a fun place to retire. SaddleBrooke is a Master Planned Community and is the largest retirement community in the Tucson area. SaddleBrooke is located on the Northwest outskirts of Tucson. This is an Age Restricted Retirement Community and generally one person must be at least 55 years of age, but some restrictions may lifted and may be reduced to 40 years old).

If you are 40 years old or older, the SaddleBrooke community in Tucson, Arizona, offers numerous golf courses to choose from and diverse on-site recreational activities year-round. The adult community encompasses more than 4,500 luxury villas and single-family homes. When you visit or stay in SaddleBrooke, you do not need leave the community with all of the extra amenities available including swimming pools, a theater and restaurants.

SaddleBrooke Golf Course

The first golf course built in the SaddleBrooke community is the SaddleBrooke golf course. The grounds consist of three diverse 9-hole courses: Tucson, Catalina and SaddleBrooke. When you combine the 9-hole courses, you have the chance to play on three 18-hole courses. Golf facilities available include a putting green, driving range and club rentals. In addition, if you desire to learn the game, the facility offers golf lessons.

Mountain View at SaddleBrooke

The Mountain View Course at SaddleBrooke sits at the Majestic Catalina Mountains foothills. This course meanders through the SaddleBrooke community, among a changing elevation, and offers 18 holes.

The Preserve at SaddleBrooke

The 18-hole Preserve Golf Course winds through the most recently developed community of SaddleBrooke in the northeast section, as of September 2010. The course meanders through the Sonoran Desert region and offers breathtaking views of the Catalina Mountains from each hole. You can select from four sets of tees, ranging from 4,920 yards to 7,006 yards.

Other Recreation at SaddleBrooke

For other on-site recreational activities, visit the Mountain View Country Club to exercise in the fitness center, swim or play a game of tennis. Another location where you can swim, play tennis or workout is at the on-site Desert View Sports Club & Performing Arts Theater.

Dining Options

After a game of golf, stop by the Mesquite Grill at SaddleBrooke or the Palo Verde Bistro & Lounge location on South Mountain View Boulevard. The Mesquite Grills serves breakfast Mondays through Saturdays and a barbecue buffet dinner on Saturdays. Another place to grab something to eat is the Pallo Verde Bistro & Lounge, which offers a lounge and dinner menu Tuesdays through Fridays. The Preserve Restaurant sits on East Catalina Hills Drive and has views of the Santa Catalina Mountains. You can order lunch Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from Thursday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The restaurant is closed Mondays.

There are several golf courses in SaddleBrooke as well as numerous tennis courts. Actually SaddleBrooke has the largest and most active tennis group in the Tucson area. There are three clubhouses, community pools and lots of structured activities for all to enjoy. SaddleBrooke sits right at the base of the Catalina Mountains so many of the homes have spectacular views of those beautiful vistas.

The homes for sale in SaddleBrooke are mostly contemporary style although there are a few southwestern style homes to choose from. Most SaddleBrooke homes are newer and they are still building homes in SaddleBrooke today.
